The Forested Land Management Mapper provides access to information about important resource lands in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. It allows users to rank important environmental indicator datasets to create their own priority maps.

The supporting data for this mapper comes from national datasets like SSURGO and NHDplus, the Resource Lands Assessment (RLA), and 2007 Forest Conservation Goals for MD, PA, and VA. The Forest Management Mapper can be used with other information to help identify lands that provide a water-quality benefit and therefore could be considered for protection.
