- Stakeholder Needs
- Current Activities or Partners
- Recommended Objectives
- Recommended Strategies
Following adaptive management principles you should identify any potential stakeholders that might have an opinion, some authority, or a general interest. Knowing all your goals up front is a good way to increase the successfulness of your management action. After identifying stakeholder, look for potential partners and current activities to reduce cost and effort. Refer to the CAP goal sections below for more information on identifying potential partners, activities, and resources.

and other sources of information
- Gather appropriate partners to address implementation in an
area or source sector.
- Identify current activities and resources being conducted in the
area or source sector through interaction with partners and using the CAP Activity Integration Catalogue.
- Begin to align partner priorities to help choose priority practices and locations.

More information on these activities can be accessed through the CBP activity integration plan, which is designed to be a comprehensive catalogue of CBP partner activities. The catalogue provides information on (1) activities being implemented, (2) lead partner and cooperating agencies, (3) amount and source of funding, and (4) general location of each activity.
